Originally a part of the huge Elan facility at Begunje in Slovenia, AMS-Flight have built over 1000 sailplanes.  These range from the DG-505 Orion two place multi-role trainer,  through the Carat motorglider and Apis series of light sailplanes and motorgliders, to the LS4b.  Components for other manufacturers such as Pipistrel are also manufactured by AMS-Flight.  This company has a highly skilled and capable workforce.  They are currently developing their Magnus ultralight motorglider that will be suitable for aerotowing.
